2018 Summer Camp (Part Time)

Kennett Area Park and Recreation 2018 Summer Camp Program

Come and join Kennett Area Park and Recreation for a fun, exciting summer!  Our Summer Camp Program is an experience that every child will enjoy!  Our goal is to provide exceptional care, educational experiences and fun filled days for all of our campers.  This non-profit program will be conducted Monday through Friday from Thursday, June 14th through Thursday, August 9th.  Program hours are from 8:30am to 4:00 pm daily.  We do offer BEFORE CARE for an additional fee of $10.00 per hour per child.  Unfortunately, we cannot offer AFTER CARE.  The camp does not operate on weekends and will be closed on July 4, 2018.  This program offers you the opportunity to choose only certain weeks that your child will attend camp.  Camp will be held at a local Kennett Consolidated School.   Transportation to and from camp on a daily basis will be the responsibility of the camper.  Transportation will be provided by KAPRB for weekly field trips.  Our schedule is filled with excitement!  Our trained and experienced counselors will plan creative arts and crafts projects.  We will have fun game days along with planned educational and athletic programs.  Our program includes field trips to local pools, parks, museums, bowling alleys and other family fun locations.

The cost of the camp is $225.00 per week per camper.  This includes the camp registration and trip fees.  Discounts apply to additional children of the same family.  Full payment is required to secure your registration.   Please be aware that camps fills up quickly.  Register today to secure your spot.

*Parents/guardians may attend field trips.  The additional cost is the responsibility of the parent/guardian.

KAPRB Blue Demons is a youth lacrosse program open to student athletes residing in the Kennett Consolidated School DistrictPer CCLA Boys regulations & PAGLA Girls regulations, if you reside outside Kennett School District you must register within your own local league.

Boys Program General Info:
Our Boys program competes at the new age groups of 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U and 14U. (See Program Registration for birth date requirements)
The 6U & 8U programs are developmental and will have play dates with other clubs throughout the season.
Our 10U, 12U and 14U programs participate in the Chester County Lacrosse Association (CCLA), and will compete with teams in other leagues from around the county. Based on the number of boys registered, each age group may have multiple teams which will be matched against other programs based on skill and experience levels.
The season runs March through May with up to 2 practices during the week.
6U & 8U games are typically organized play dates with other clubs.
10U, 12U and 14U programs play 10-12 league games with playoffs at the 12U & 14U A&B levels.

Boys 10U, 12U & 14U $245 - Openings available
 
 Girls Lacrosse Program
All age groups for Girls are full at this time.
